Labor Day weekend we had one last summer weekend of fun in the sun! We decided to check out Terranea, the new luxury resort that just opened on the cliffs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Although it was a little strange paying to stay in the area I grew up - we wanted to check it out and the deal we got just couldn't be passed up.
Terranea Resort is built where (my old favorite) Marineland used to be - which used to look like this...
But now (30 years later) it looks more like this...
It's a beautiful resort on a breathtaking bluff...
We spent the weekend here by the pool...
with this as our view...
The resort is enormous!!
How quickly I forget how pretty it is up here!
The resort has an owl and hawk they have on display for the guests...
